Help signal using helmet

I usually do riding with my friends over the weekends and we go for long ones, sometimes with our wives and sometimes just a boy thing to do. Then one time when we were camping, my buddy shared the story of this one guy who started this trend to ask for help using helmet. Have you heard about it? That when drivers pull over and put their helmet on the ground behind their bike they're asking for serious help? Quite scary but I took notice of that during the story. My friend said one time he pulled over to SOS and then the driver was apparently suicidal. He just sat there with him for a while and talked. They remained friends.

My uncle told me about this but I've never seen someone do it in any of my rides.
About your friend.. good that he was around and knew what it meant. He must've saved the rider's life!

Damn, that just gave me chills. I thought it was going to be a stickup or some sort. First time I ever heard of it. That is really sad.

This is so true. Sometimes all we need to do is be present, you know. No need to be all out when helping other people. Kindness goes a long long way.
