What brands do you recommend for a good helmet? of course, I'm after the durability and hopefully nothing above $400. Also something that good ventilation for the summer. any recos will help. helmet photos will be great too!

you got several options that are withing pricerange that are good quality such as scorpion, shoei or bell

$400 is a lot of money. That's a wide range for helmets. My suggestion though is to visit local stores too see whichh fits your head the best and most comfortable. However, just to answer the question, AGV and Scorpion are always at the top of my list on helmets (considering durability and price).

That's such a huge budget for a helmet lol. You can go for Bell MX-9 Adventure MIPS or Arai XD-4.

Ok, I hadn't really checked this one out yet, which is why I just recommended Bell or Arai. I suddenly needed a replacement helmet and went for the Shoei, so thanking you for this.

Last summer, I needed a good helmet for under $400 that wouldn't make my head boil on long rides. I tried on a bunch and ended up with a Scorpion EXO AT950. It fit perfectly, and the vents kept me cool even when it was super hot. I even dropped it off my tailgate later that year, and it barely got a scratch. Sometimes the best helmet isn't the one everyone is talking about, it's just the one that fits you well

I bought a Nolan 103 modular a while ago, you can get replacement padding to make it feel brand new again, I like the modular because you can flip the chin back over head and get fresh air
