bike won't start

a few days ago i went to have the bike washed on a self service one and i washed it like i did every time before but this time the bike wouldn't start. i turned off the inigtionand tried again but no luck. i got lights, so there is power, so the bike just doesn't start. has anyone experienced something similar? i wanna say it's not the water as the bike ended up parked in the pouring rain (fell asleep and didn't cover it) for most of the night and started up in the morning without breaking a sweat. with that said i'm willing to accept fault if you think i did something wrong

Have you tried checking the battery post connections? They have to be really clean and just tight. Then follow it up with a voltage reader device and this should have consistent V of like 12.4-12.6 on the terminals. Update us here.

Yeah, I've had that happen once after a pressure wash, even if it's been fine before, sometimes water sneaks into connectors or the kill switch, so double check the sidestand switch, clutch switch, and kill switch, those are common culprits. Hit everything with contact cleaner and give the starter relay a tap just in case. Don't beat yourself up, these bikes can be picky after a wash.

Better check fusesm spark plugs and the kill switch which can get wonky when wet. Let us know what you find!

If everything else were checked and seems fine, try to take a look at the fuel system. it may have water in it or the ignition too.

if it happens after washing, it's probably got something to do with water, bro. you need to check just to make sure. probably it sneaks into the carb, wiring, you even need to check the engine

yeah, I agree.Could there be a difference in water pressure or how close you got the nozzle to certain components during the wash? Sometimes, water can get into connectors that are usually pretty sealed, but a strong direct spray might find a way. @mfstarboy have you checked your spark plug caps to see if they're seated firmly?
